Principal Function of the Position:
The primary focus of this advanced position is to provide comprehensive support for the organization’s software systems.
This involves coding application interfaces, database analysis/design, and testing/debugging of user reported issues.
Will be expected to actively collaborate on or lead larger-scale project teams to design, code, and implement new features and solutions or upgrades of existing software.
This individual must have strong multitasking abilities to efficiently manage multiple priorities and tasks to ensure successful and accurate results.
Must be able to reassess project priorities, perform daily work assignments with minimal supervision, and maintain effective communications with peers, co-workers, and management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide frontend & backend support of Syteline ERP application and supporting database level programs through the Infor development toolset and SQL Server Management Studio.
Collaborate with end users, and other programmers to develop new features within the Syteline software.
Assist in projects to upgrade Unverferth Dealer website, and other web-based applications that interface with the Syteline ERP backend, specifically in the areas of inventory management and shipping processes.
Analyze business processes and make recommendations for long-term software solutions.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and experiment with new technologies and programming environments.
Organize and lead the training of end users on the use of company web and desktop applications.
Work closely with other programmers to develop company coding standards and best practices.
Organize and update system documentation according to company guidelines.
Education Requirements:
Applicants are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, in addition to accumulating 3-5 years of pertinent work experience.
Alternatively, consideration may be given to candidates holding an Associate’s degree, provided they have acquired 5 years of previous work experience in one or more of the specified disciplines within a medium-sized company.
In addition to education and experience qualifications, candidates must have proven experience working with Syteline, or other enterprise software development environment.
The individual must be willing to continue updating and advancing their skillset, capabilities, and certifications to meet the ongoing requirements for technology advancement and continuous changes in the information systems discipline.

Programming experience with Infor Syteline or other manufacturing ERP software
Advanced coding experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar database software
Web development principles and technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser development tools, etc.
)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft web/desktop development technologies
