IF THE LISTING IS UP, THE CAR IS STILL AVAILABLE
Firm 3,800
Hello, I am selling a 2006 Toyota Prius color Grey with Grey leather interior.
I bought this car for one of my brothers (who didn't have a vehicle at that time) about 4 years ago, I purchased it as a mechanic special at that time.
I am a mechanic so I fixed the car for him and he has been driving it ever since.
He recently decided he wanted to sell the car back to me since I was the one who bought it for him in the first place.
This car recently had a low mileage engine put in it with 136k miles on it (I have the purchase receipt).
The original engine didn't need to be replaced but he insisted on having it replaced, I guess he planned on keeping it for a long time but decided to go back on the road as a truck driver and told me he had no use for the car anymore.
The mileage on the dash says 140k to match the mileage on the engine.
The miles are unknown on the car because the dash lights that show the speed and the mileage were black for a long time and the instrument cluster was replaced to repair this issue.
I have this reported on the car title as not accurate car mileage, it doesn't hurt anything it just says on the title mileage discrepancy.
I wanted that to be well known before selling the car to anyone.
If you want a Prius that has a low mileage engine in it and a newer Hybrid battery out of a 3rd gen Prius.
Then this car is the one for you.
Yes, I know everything about these cars and yes I installed a hybrid battery in it from a 3rd gen Prius.
The reason I put a 3rd gen hybrid battery in the car was so my brother didn't have to worry about the hybrid battery ever randomly failing on him.
I have been driving this car for about 3 weeks now before listing it for sale, just to be certain there are no issues with it.
I installed New front-end strut assemblies, New sway-bar links, New inner fender liners, and added another key fob to the car, the lock and unlock on the Fob still needs to be programmed to the new key fob by a locksmith or dealership (They have Security clearance) will probably cost around $100.
The car has Michelin Defender car tires.
He drove this car from Ohio to Georgia all the time, he also drove it everywhere doing the Uber, Lyft, and door dash jobs.
I nicknamed the car Ole Trusty.
Sorry for the long ad but I wanted to be as detailed and honest as possible.
I am selling it so cheap mainly because it is not in perfect exterior condition, some scratches and the mileage discrepancy.
other than that, this is a good reliable car and mechanically sound.
I want $3800 firm for the car.
